The food is excellent. And is naturally good. My wife is VERY allergic to MSG.most of the dishes are normally made without MSG You can ask them to modify anything , include mushrooms, leave baby corn out, they are very accommodating. Staff is attentive without making you feel bothered. Definitely a favorite place for us.

I got a couple to-go orders here during my stay in GJ. While they filled my heavy weekly desire for Chinese food, it is just ok. I do judge heavily on hot and sour soup. They do just fine in that area. It is always spicy and comes steaming hot. It is the entrees that leave you wanting. The quantities are huge, but the quality is very eh. The fried wantons are a no go. Don't even go there. The spring rolls are decent. Not my favorite, but serviceable.

The food is good but the server took the plate quickly and interrupt my conversation with my friend.

The absolute best Kung Pao Chicken in the history of my life! The servers were so friendly and hospitable. They really make you feel like you are an honored guest. We were just passing on our way to California but I will never forget it!

All I can say is the food was very good. I had the Dragon & Phoenix. Service was very good. Nice ambiance . Background music added a nice touch. Prices not bad. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a real nice Chinese restaurant.

Truly some of the best food you can find in Orchard Mesa and for Chinese it's the best in town.

We stayed in Grand Junction overnight on our way to Las Vegas. Found this place based on reviews versus other Chinese places in town. We found the food excellent, portions large, and the service quick and professional. It was not upscale dining, but simply very good casual / family dining and a good value for the money.

Authentic Chinese, great music, service, and above all food! Substituted for sesame tofu which was nice and crispy, unlike some places where it's too soft. Service was fast and everything we ordered tasty, would come back again!

I don't usually go 5 stars but I don't want to be the one to break the streak and to be fair I didn't get the service everyone is raving about because I got carryout. I can say the kung pow chicken I got based on another reviewer's testimony is a good solid 4 stars at least. The chicken pieces look and taste real, which already puts it in the 80th percentile. The rest is pretty par. It has a nice level of spice. The portion is ridiculous; they literally put as much as they could fit in one of those square Styrofoam boxes with another little Chinese takeout box full of rice for about 10 bucks. Good 3 meals' worth. I'm happy.

For it being a Chinese delivery place, it is pretty great!! The chicken tastes and looks like chicken, it feels fresh, and it is gooooooood. The staff is very friendly as well! I definitely would recommend making this your Chinese food needs destination!

Having moved to rural western Colorado (where about the only ethnic food is Mexican), my wife and I seek out good Oriental restaurants whenever we make it into Grand Junction. Dragon Treasure was no disappointment. The food was excellent, and the decor tasteful, but what really sets this place apart is the service. We were there for lunch, and although the selection of entrees on the lunch special was good, I didn't see either the soup or the dish I wanted. I ordered them anyway, expecting to pay the "dinner" price. To my surprise, they brought just what I wanted as if it were just another selection on the lunch menu without a comment or question. This place is well worth a stop.

This little restaurant has, by far, the BEST service in town. We love to go there often. By our second trip the staff recognized us as regulars and have given us a very warm welcome ever since. The food is fantastic, everything you expect from a Chinese food restaurant and more. To add to that, its consistent. The food is great each and every visit, we have never left unsatisfied or discontent with anything. The staff are polite and very attentive, the portions are huge, and the prices are cheap. I can't think of any other place in town where you can get that full for so cheap. One of my favorite aspects, besides the food, is the decor. Its subtle and creates a romantic setting on a quiet day without beating you over the head with the cheap "traditional" fake decor that so many other Chinese restaurants have. I can't recommend this place enough.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
